中文摘要:英语第二课堂活动在各高职院校得到了广泛的开展,但其有效性却不尽如人意。根据效教学的理论,从效率、效果和效益三因素考虑,开展高职英语第二课堂活动需要减少教学投入并增加教学产出,需要切实让学生得到进步、发展并达到教学目标的要求,需要培养学生走向社会所需要的"实用"能力。

外文摘要:Extracurricular English learning activities are beneficial supplements to classroom English learning.They were widely carried out in many higher vocational colleges.However,the effectiveness of these activities is far from satisfying.Based on the theory of effective teaching,English extracurricular learning activities should be designed for efficiency,effect and benefit.The effective activities should reduce teaching input while at the same time improve output,should help students make progress and achieve their learning objectives,and should give students useful and practical skills that are needed in the society.
