外文摘要：This paper analyzes the features of WeChat and WeChat Public Platform and introduces their developments and applica- tions respectively, with the focus on the three key functions of WeChat Public Platform. Based on a survey of the current applications of WeChat in the library, it also elaborates the significance of applying WeChat in the library and presents an analysis of its application pattern and some hypotheses about its future development in the field. Possible improvements of WeChat Public Platform are given at the end.
